Jon Thorner's has an established supply of local free range poultry and we pride ourselves on having birds of fantastic quality for you to choose from. We only purchase from known local suppliers, who are able to provide birds that are free to roam grassy fields, yet have protection from the elements and predetors. Most are reared in small flocks which helps to reduce stress and produces a better tasting chicken.
Our selection includes free range chickens, turkeys, duck, geese, cockerels- and for a special occasion, please ask about our fantastic bronze turkeys which are still a traditional favourite at Christmas. Ask our butchers for advice and availability!
We are proud to be associated with the following suppliers: MR JEFF CRACKNELL of Langport who for many years has been our main supplier of free range products and superb Christmas birds.
