Jon Thorner's prides itself on being able to source locally reared, free range pork. The free range pigs are born and reared in family groups, and live in large outdoor social environments that is as close to their natural habitat as possible.From succulent pork tenderloins and chops to our own homemade sausages and the most wonderful roasting joints – prepared with just the right amount of fat to produce great crackling. Our range also includes lean diced pork, our own cured bacon and delicious home made burgers.
We also sell the very best English ham, prepared from the finest West Country gammons– choose from Wiltshire, smoked or honey roasted. Or you can choose to make your own superb ham from one of our finest West Country gammon joints.
Our suppliers include ANDREW HAWKINGS who sells us pork from his own farm and also prides himself on being able to source quality livestock from neighbouring farmers, STEVE TUCKER, who is the owner of Whiterow Farm shop at Beckington, near Frome and supplies pork, directly from his farm, for all our retail outlets. We also buy from CHILDHAY MANOR who pride themselves on the fact that their animal feeds contain no GMO products and MIKE COLWELL who is proprietor of Frome Valley farm shop at Frampton Cotterell.
