BURNS NIGHT 2010

The 25th of January see's Burns night, the birthday of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns. Burns night involves a a traditional Scottish supper with a haggis as the centrepiece to celebrate the life and work of Burns. To accomodate this, Jon Thorner's will be stocking a healthy range of MacSweens haggis from the size of 1lb up to the large 5lb. We will also have vegetarian haggis available.

Haggis was forever immortalised by Burns in his poem, 'To a haggis' which is recited when the dish is brought to the table!
