I had a busy day yesterday as Jon Thorner's were invited to the Wells Blue School for the grand opening of the UK's first Special Catering Training Centre. The World famous chef Raymond Blanc OBE officially opened the new Centre. You can read or listen to his comments on the BBC website.

The FEAST (Food Excellence and Skills Training) government initiative was born out of the Jamie Oliver campaign that contributed to the Government introducing a series of food and nutritional standards aimed at improving the quality of school meals.

You will be pleased to hear that Jon Thorner's supply the local meats and poultry for the school dinners at the Wells Blue School. The school invited me to put on a meat counter display and a meat cutting demonstration similar to the one you can watch on YouTube. Select this link to view one of my Meat Cutting Demonstrations. The demo has already been watched nearly 400 times since I had it uploaded before Christmas.
